REAR STORAGE BOX LID RATTLE

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1987 OLDSMOBILE "A " CAR WITH BA6 OPTION -----------------

A few 1987 Oldsmobile "A" styles with option BA6 (Box Assembly stowage, rear seat to, back window foundation) may exhibit a rattle condition from the stowage box lid.

To repair this condition spacer/bumpers should be added to the box at locations indicated on the Illustration.

The spacer/bumpers can be cut from 3M single coated vinyl foam #4508 or equivalent. Spacer/bumpers should be approximately 3/8 inch square.

3M #6375 is 1/8 inch th0062ick, 3M #6373 is 1/4 inch thick and may be used if required.
