General - All Passenger Cars
Labels are pressure sensitive, therefore, surfaces must be clean, dry, warm and free of contaminants, before labels are affixed. Labels must be pressed firmly over their entire surface.
Locate labels next to corresponding English labels, unless otherwise noted. Both Labels must be readable.
- If vehicle is equipped with an English label, place label 52350076 over it. Otherwise, place label 52350076 adjacent to the English embossed message on fan shroud. For 'R' car use label 52354789, for 'A. J, F, N, P, or Y'car use 52355271 adjacent to English label.
- If 'A, J, N, or P' car, place label 744759 over English label on fan shroud.
- If 'G or J' car, with a turbo-charged engine, place label 52353415 over English label on fan shroud.
- If 'Y' car use 52355272 over English label.
- Place label 52350963 over original label, such that replacement code in bottom RH corner is visible
- Place label 5235472 over the English label
- Place label 52354601, 5235602, 52354603, or 52354604, (whichever is appropriate), Original charge indicator label.
- Place 52354793-94-95 over the English label
- Place 52355469 over the English label
- Place label 52353414 (P-Car) adjacent to English labels located on the top of the radiator shroud and inside surface of the rear dock lid.
- Place label 52355471 (B-Car) adjacent to English label.
5) Air Conditioner Compressor/Evaporator Label -------------------------------------------
- Place label 744775C over the words 'Refrigerant Oil, Model No.', such that LH edge of overlay is even with LH edge of silver portion of compressor label.
- Place label 744775A adjacent to English label on compressor.
- Place label 744775B adjacent to English label on Evaporator. Place label 744775D adjacent to English label on side of accumulator bottle.
- Place label 744678 over original label so that code in top LH corner is not covered.
- Place label 74750 or 746827 (whichever is appropriate) on oil filter canister adjacent to English label.
- Place label 52354520 over English label.
- Place label 52352671 over English label located on the oil fill cap.
- Place label 52352960 over the title block section of the English label.
- Place label 52352902 over English label which is located on top of the battery.
12) Vehicle Fluid Identification Label (Cadillac 'C' only) -------------------------------------------------------
- Place label 52353411 beside the English Label on top of the air cleaner.

- Place label 744673 on Amp Unit (under Dash, Driver's Side) over existing label, such that Model No. shows.
- Place tag 744645 or 52354600 on shaft of light switch adjacent to English tag.
5) Fuse Block Identification Labels ('C' Cars Only) --------------------------------------------------
- Remove the fuse block cover and install label 52353407 (Olds). 52353408 (Buick), or 52353409 (Cadillac), over the fuse identification chart on the inside surface of the fuse block cover.
- Place label 52355466 over existing English label
- Place labels 52355486 (Cadillac) and 52355487 (Olds) over existing English label.
- Place label 52354798 over existing English label.
- Place label 52354729 over existing English label.
6) Headlight Flash to Pass Signal Switch Tag (Pontiac 'A' with Y88 Package Only) -----------------------------------------------------------------------
- Place tag 52352651 on shaft of signal switch adjacent to English label.
7) Third Seat Release Information Label (Olds 'B' Wagon) -----------------------------------------------------
- Place label 744742 beside established label, near the release label on RH side.
- This label is outside the passenger compartment.
- If vehicle is equipped with option Z51, raise vehicle on a hoist and install labels 52353504 adjacent to the original labels. English labels on the shafts of each shock absorber.
- Place label 52353291 on the rim of the Wheel Adjacent to the English label.
- Place labels 52354636 and 52354637 on the underside of stowage compartment lid adjacent to English label.
- Place label 52354515 on side of jack opposite to English label.
- Place label 52350964 on left and right side roof panels over English Labels.
- Find key in glove box. Wrap label 744736 around key stem such that lock/unlock directions correspond to English label.
- Place label 52354642 adjacent to English label on LH side quarter window (2 door), or LH RR door window (4 door).
- Place label 52354638 on underside of stowage compartment lid adjacent to English label.
- Place label 52354566 adjacent to English label.
- Place label 52354567 similarly to English label but on opposite side of the RR latch.
