Removal Procedure
  1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to Disabling the SIR System in SIR.
  2. Remove the lower trim cover. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement - On Vehicle .
  3. Remove the tilt lever spring.
  4. Remove the retaining bolt from the tilt lever.

    5. Object Number: 697350 Size: SH
  5. Remove the tilt lever.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 697350 Size: SH
  1. Install the tilt lever.
  2. Install the retaining bolt to the tilt lever.
  3. Install the tilt lever spring.
  4. Install the lower trim cover. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement - On Vehicle .
  5. Enable the SIR system. Refer to Disabling the SIR System in SIR.
