J 38185 Hose Clamp Pliers

1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling in Engine Cooling.
2. Remove the wiper motor module assembly. Refer to Windshield Wiper System Module Replacement in Wipers/Washer Systems.
3. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the brake booster and reposition.
4. Remove the air cleaner cover and intake tube. Refer to Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement in Engine Controls - 3.4 L.

Important: Disconnect the throttle and cruise control cables from the TBI mounting bracket to prevent bending the cable housings.

5. Disconnect the throttle and cruise control cables.
6. Remove the transmission fluid filler tube. Refer to Transmission Fluid Filler Tube Replacement in Automatic Transaxle.



7. Disconnect the inlet heater hose (1) from the inlet heater pipe (2).



8. Disconnect the heater hose clamp using the J 38185 .
9. Disconnect the inlet heater hose from the heater core.
10. Remove the inlet heater hose.

1. Install the inlet heater hose.



2. Connect the inlet heater hose to the heater core.
3. Connect the heater hose clamp using the J 38185 .



4. Connect the inlet heater hose (1) to the inlet pipe (2).
5. Install the transmission fluid filler tube. Refer to Transmission Fluid Filler Tube Replacement in Automatic Transaxle.
6. Connect the throttle and cruise control cables to the TBI mounting bracket.
7. Install the air cleaner cover and intake tube. Refer to Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement in Engine Controls - 3.4 L.
8. Connect the vacuum hose to the brake booster.
9. Install the wiper motor module assembly. Refer to Windshield Wiper System Module Replacement in Wipers/Washer Systems.
10. Refill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling in Engine Cooling.
