Makes 🢒 Pontiac 🢒 2002 🢒 Aztek - FWD 🢒 Restraints 🢒 SIR 🢒 Enabling the SIR System

    Object Number: 628324 Size: SH
  1. Connect the inflatable restraint side impact module - RF connector (1) located under the front passenger seat.
  2. Install the connector position assurance (CPA) to the side impact module - RF connector (1).

    3. Object Number: 628320 Size: SH
  3. Connect the inflatable restraint side impact module - LF connector (1) located under the driver seat.
  4. Install the CPA to the side impact module - LF connector (1).

    5. Object Number: 262989 Size: SH
  5. Connect the inflatable restraint IP module connector (1) located behind the RH insulator panel.
  6. Install the CPA (2) to the IP module connector (1).
  7. Install the RH insulator panel.

    8. Object Number: 628317 Size: SH
  8. Connect the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil connector (1) located at the base of the steering column.
  9. Install the CPA to the steering wheel module coil connector (1).
  10. Install the LH insulator panel.

    11. Object Number: 628316 Size: SH
  11. Install the SIR Fuse.
  12. Install the console accessory wiring junction block access hole cover.
  13. Staying well away from all inflator modules, turn ON the ignition.
    14. 13.1. The AIR BAG indicator will flash seven times.
    13.2. The AIR BAG indicator will then turn OFF.
  14. Perform the Diagnostic System Check - SIR if the AIR BAG indicator does not operate as described.
