The height sensor monitors the compressor relay coil control circuity for a open circuit or short to battery.
Ignition On.
This DTC is set when the height sensor detects the compressor relay coil control circuit is open or shorted to battery.
• | The height sensor disables the compressor. |
• | Lowering functions shall continue. |
• | The height sensor disables inflator functions. |
The conditions that caused the DTC to set have been removed.
A short to battery or an open circuit in the compressor relay coil control circuit will set this DTC.
The number(s) below refer to the step number(s) on the diagnostic table.
Tests for battery positive voltage at the relay coil. The ELC fuse supplies power to the relay coil of the compressor relay.
Verifies that the height sensor is providing ground to the compressor relay.
Tests if battery positive voltage is constantly being applied to the compressor relay control circuit or the circuit is open.
Verifies that the sensor is self tested after replacement.
