Makes 🢒 Pontiac 🢒 2005 🢒 Aztek - FWD 🢒 Body 🢒 Lighting Systems 🢒 Console Electrical Center or Junction Block Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection in Engine Electrical.
  2. Remove the front floor console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.

    3. Object Number: 627732 Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the electrical connectors (1,2,3) from the body control module (BCM).

    4. Object Number: 627975 Size: SH
  4. Disconnect the electrical connectors (1,2) from the console accessory wiring junction block.

    5. Object Number: 627736 Size: SH
  5. Release the retainers (1) from the junction block.
  6. Remove the junction block (2) out of the bracket.
  7. Remove the BCM. Refer to Body Control Module Replacement in Computer/Integrating Systems.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the BCM. Refer to Body Control Module Replacement in Computer/Integrating Systems.

    2. Object Number: 627736 Size: SH
  2. Install the console accessory wiring junction block (2) into the bracket.
  3. Secure the junction block retainers (1).

    4. Object Number: 627975 Size: SH
  4. Connect the electrical connectors (1,2) to the junction block.

    5. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  5. Install the electrical connectors bolts (1,2) to the junction block. Finger tighten the bolts until seated.

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 6 N·m (54 lb in).

  6. Connect the BCM electrical connectors (1,2,3).
  7. Install the front floor console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  8. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection in Engine Electrical.
