TRANS. UNIT REPAIR REVISION INTERMEDIATE BAND ADJUSTMENT

THE FOLLOWING IS A REVISION TO THE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION 250C UNIT REPAIR SECTION, PAGE 250C-25, STEP NO. 28 SHOULD BE REVISED TO READ: AFTER PUMP ASSEMBLY IS COMPLETELY INSTALLED, ADJUST INTERMEDIATE BAND. TIGHTEN ADJUSTING SCREW TO 3.7 N.M (30 IN. LBS.) AND THEN BACKOFF 3 COMPLETE TURNS. WHILE HOLDING SCREW IN POSITION, TIGHTEN LOCK NUT TO 20.3 N.M (15 FT. LBS.) (FIGURE 250C-90)
