QUIET TURN SIGNAL FLASHERS RELOCATE TO REMOTE MOUNTING

YOU MAY EXPERIENCE A CONDITION OF TURN SIGNAL FLASHERS THAT ARE NOT LOUD ENOUGH. THIS CONDITION CAN BE REPAIRED BY RELOCATING THE FLASHER TO A REMOTE CLIP MOUNTING AS FOLLOWS: 1. REMOVE TURN SIGNAL FLASHER WIRE TERMINALS FROM THE FUSE BLOCK (LOWER RIGHT) AND INSTALL IN CONNECTOR BODY 2973781. SEE FIG. 2. MAKE UP A JUMPER HARNESS USING 2 WIRES (OF APPROPRIATE LENGTH TO RELOCATE THE FLASHER ATTACHMENT TO I.P. LOWER TIE OR STEERING COLUMN SUPPORT), 2 TERMINALS, PART NO. 2971962 AND CONNECTOR, PART NO. 2984883 AT ONE END, AND 2 TERMINALS, PART NO. 2977615, IN CONNECTOR, PART NO. 2973385 AT THE OTHER END. 3. INSTALL FLASHER IN HARNESS AND CONNECT HARNESS TO FLASHER WIRING FROM FUSE BLOCK. 4. ATTACH CLIP, PART NO. 1244112 TO FLASHER AND MOUNT FLASHER/CLIP ASSEMBLY ON I.P. LOWER TIE BAR OR STEERING COLUMN SUPPORT. TAPE OR STRAP WIRE NEATLY OUT OF WAY. PARTS REQUIRED: 1 CONNECTOR, PART NO. 2973781 1 CONNECTOR, PART NO. 2984883 2 TERMINALS, PART NO. 2971962 2 TERMINALS, PART NO. 2977615 1 CONNECTOR, PART NO. 2973385 WIRE .8 (18GA) - AS REQUIRED 1 CLIP, PART NO. 1244112
