This bulletin outlines information for the 1987 Bonneville wire wheel cover option N91.
Wire Wheel Cover Packages are shipped in the trunk of the car and, at the time of new car delivery, these packages should be inspected for missing, damaged, or incorrect parts. Any discrepancies should be noted on the delivery receipt and a transportion claim should be filed, if necessary. If no discrepancies exist, but application presents a problem, contact the zone office or TAC.
N.I. Industries Wheel Cover Package
1. Four locking wire wheel cover* assemblies (P/N 1632242) 2. Four emblem assemblies (P/N 25529638) 3. Four lock nuts (see chart on page 2) 4. Four retainer assemblies (P/N 1632244) 5. One lock key wrench (see chart on page 2) 6. One ID/Registration Card 7. Removal/Installation instruction label 8. Four tire valve extensions (P/N 9422872)
* These parts come assembled as part of the Wire Wheel Cover Package, but are only available from WDDGM individually using the listed part numbers.
Lock nuts and lock key wrenches for the Bonneville are produced by N.I. Industries (refer to Figure 1). Lock nuts and lock key wrenches are color coded and may be ordered from WDDGM using the following part number information:

- When installing an N.I. Industries' wire wheel cover (Figure 1) on a steel wheel, the "positioning clips" must be in the correct position (Figure 2) .
N.I. Wheel Cover Lock Nut Replacement Procedure: ----------------------------------------------- Removal ------- a. Press lock nut out from the rear of the wheel cover using a drift pin.
a. Position lock nut under two of the three retaining clips on the wheel cover.
b. Press the lock nut under the third clip using a drift pin.
An individual lock key wrench may be obtained from N.I. Industries by submitting a written request. Include the color code of the lock key, the original I.D. Card, full name and address, and a $7.50 check for each wrench requested. Send to:
