FUEL LINES VISIBLE ON VEHICLE (SERVICE PROCEDURE)

SUBJECT: FUEL LINES VISIBLE BELOW VEHICLE (SERVICE PROCEDURE)

MODELS AFFECTED: 1992 BONNEVILLE MODELS

CONDITION:

---------- Some owners of 1992 Bonneville models may experience a condition where the fuel lines sag below the underbody floor pan creating an unsightly condition.

CAUSE:

------ Under certain conditions, the forces of snow and water splash exerted on the lines may cause them to sag.

CORRECTION:

----------- VIN N1200000 through N1207408 ----------------------------- These vehicles were built with a cover/retainer and a plastic push pin at position "A".

SERVICE PROCEDURE:

1. Remove the plastic push pin at position "A". See Figure 2.

2. Install rivet, Part Number 9437938, as shown.

Parts are currently available from GMSPO.
