SUBJECT: CUP HOLDER SEPARATING AT CUP (REPLACE CUP HOLDER)

MODELS: 1992-95 PONTIAC BONNEVILLE WITH CENTER CONSOLE

CONDITION:

SOME OWNERS MAY COMMENT ON THE CUP HOLDER SEPARATING AT THE CUP.

CORRECTION:

A NEW DESIGN HAS BEEN DEVELOPED TO ALLOW CUP HOLDER TO BE SERVICED SEPARATELY FROM CONSOLE BIN COMPARTMENT TRIM PANEL.

1. OPEN CONSOLE BIN DOOR TO ACCESS CUP HOLDER ARMS.

NOTICE: CARE SHOULD BE TAKEN TO ENSURE THAT THE HINGE PINS AND SURROUNDING TRIM ARE NOT DAMAGED DURING MATERIAL OR ARM REMOVAL.

2. CAREFULLY REMOVE CUP HOLDER ARM MATERIAL AT HINGE PINS (WITH SMALL DIAGONAL SIDE CUTTERS) TO ALLOW REMOVAL OF CUP HOLDER ARMS. REFER TO FIGURES 1 AND 2.

3. WITH THE CUP HOLDER, P/N 25639346, FACE DOWN TOWARD THE CONSOLE BIN, INSERT ARMS UNDER HINGE PINS.

4. ALIGN CUP HOLDER SLOTS WITH HINGE PINS AND CAREFULLY PULL TO SEAT ARMS OVER PINS. VERIFY PROPER OPERATION.

PARTS ARE EXPECTED TO AVAILABLE ON SEPTEMBER 4, 1995.
