--------- Some 1992 Pontiac Bonnevilles may experience a condition of cold air on the feet while in A/C Mode. This cold air has the possibility of coming from the side window defogger gasket or the A/C gasket to the modular duct.
---------- 1. Remove the passenger side hush panel below the dash.
2. Using a flashlight and your hands, check for gaps or air leaks between the cross car and the modular duct with the fan on high and the A/C on.
3. If any leakage of gaps are found, remove the I/P per the service manual.
4. Replace the two gaskets between the cross car duct and the modular duct with kit p/n 12536299 which includes both gaskets.
5. Reinstall the I/P per the service manual.
6. Check for proper operation of the in car sensor aspirator on C68 systems.

General Motors bulletins are intended for use by professional technicians, not a "do-it-yourselfer". They are written to inform those technicians of conditions that may occur on some vehicles, or to provide information that could assist in the proper service of a vehicle. Properly trained technicians have the equipment, tools, safety instructions and know-how to do a job properly and safely. If a condition is described, do not assume that the bulletin applies to your vehicle, or that your vehicle will have that condition. See a General Motors dealer servicing your brand of General Motors vehicle for information on whether your vehicle may benefit from the information.
