BACK WINDOW 'ITCH' NOISE (APPLY STICK LUBRICANT)

SUBJECT: BACK WINDOW ITCH NOISE (APPLY STICK LUBRICANT TO BODY SURFACE UNDER MOULDING)

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1992 "H" MODELS ------------------------------------------------------------------------------

CONDITION:

---------- Some 1992 Bonneville models may exhibit a back window moulding to body itch noise condition.

CORRECTION:

----------- To correct this condition, lift the lower edge of the back window reveal moulding and apply the stick lubricant to the body surface under the moulding. This lubricant must be applied the entire length of the reveal moulding.

The stick lubricant used for this repair is available from sources such as Ace Hardware, Western Auto under the name Door-Ease Stick Lubricant Part No. DE3 or DEK3. NAPA Auto Stores also sell this product under part number 765-1385.
