H.U.D. WON'T RETAIN POSITION (DRIFT) INSTALL NEW CABLE

Some owners of 1992 Bonnevilles with Option (UV6) may experience a condition where the Head Up display image does not stay in its predetermined location or adjusting the image position on the windshield is difficult.

CORRECTION:

A new cable entered production with VIN N128600. This part number is 16178268 and it has been released for service. This cable has a higher retention force that will not permit the image to drift. The HUD image adjust lever is located on the instrument panel to the left of the steering column. Follow the service manual for the correct replacement procedure.
