This bulletin is an advisory concerning required maintenance of the supercharger oil level on the 3800 (L67) engine. The procedure for checking the oil level is also included.
------- * Check oil level every 30,000 miles (50,000 km) or every 36 months.
DO NOT REMOVE OIL PLUG WHEN THE ENGINE IS WARM. REMOVING THE OIL PLUG AT WARM ENGINE TEMPERATURES CAN CAUSE HOT OIL TO OVERFLOW. THIS COULD RESULT IN OIL LOSS AND POSSIBLE PERSONAL INJURY.

2. Torque plug to 10 N.m (88 lb.in.).
