VEHICLES AFFECTED: REVISED 1993 "H" MODELS
The following Remove and Install Procedure for the HVAC Programmer 1C-45 has been revised.
Please update your respective service manual accordingly.
PROGRAMMER (DRIVER/PASSENGER SIR)
Remove or Disconnect
Disable SIR System, refer to "Disabling the Supplemental Inflatable Restraint (SIR) System" in this section.
1. Powertrain control module, refer to Section 6E3-Cl. 2. Vacuum and lower electrical connectors. 3. Programmer screws. 4. Upper electrical connector and programmer.
Install or Connect
1. Upper electrical connector and programmer. 2. Programmer screws.
Tighten Screws to 1.4 N.m (12 lb. in.).
3. Vacuum and lower electrical connectors. 4. Powertrain control modul, refer to Section 6E3-Cl.
Enable SIR System, refer to "Enabling the Supplemental Inflatable Restraint (SIR) System" in this section.
