SOME OWNERS MAY COMMENT THAT THE ELECTROCHROMIC REARVIEW MIRROR VIBRATES EXCESSIVELY.
THE MIRROR MAY NOT BE PROPERLY ATTACHED TO THE WINDSHIELD MOUNTING BUTTON.
THE MIRROR DOES NOT NEED TO BE INITIALLY REPLACED. IT CAN BE REINSTALLED USING THE FOLLOWING PROCEDURE:
1. REMOVE THE INSIDE ELECTROCHROMIC REARVIEW MIRROR FOLLOWING THE PROCEDURE IN SECTION 10-2 OF THE SERVICE MANUAL.
2. REINSTALL THE MIRROR FOLLOWING THE PROCEDURE OUTLINED IN THE SERVICE MANUAL, ENSURING PROPER ALIGNMENT OF THE MIRROR TO THE MOUNTING BUTTON. AN AUDIBLE CLICK MUST BE HEARD WHEN THE MIRROR IS ATTACHED TO THE BUTTON TO GUARANTEE PROPER INSTALLATION.
3. ENSURE THAT THE VIBRATION CONDITION OF THE MIRROR HAS IMPROVED AFTER REINSTALLATION. NO MODIFICATION OR BENDING OF THE ATTACHMENT SPRING CLIP SHOULD BE NECESSARY TO IMPROVE THE CONDITION. IF THIS PROCEDURE DOES NOT CORRECT THE CONDITION, THE MIRROR SHOULD BE REPLACED.
