Removal Procedure
- Remove the RH instrument panel sound insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
- Unsnap the brake lamp driver module (1) from body control module bracket.
- Open the brake lamp driver module endcap and remove the circuit board by pulling straight out.
Important: The internal circuit board is replaceable. The terminals and housing are part of the wiring harness.
Installation Procedure
- Carefully install the circuit board into the brake lamp driver module (1) case and close the endcap.
- Snap the brake lamp driver module into the body control module bracket clip.
- Install the RH IP sound insulator.
