Removal Procedure
- Remove the retaining screw.
- Pull the molding (2) upward and gently pry the molding
off along the top edge.
- Slide the molding down off of the lower clips.
Installation Procedure
- Install the molding (2).
- Install the retaining screw.

Removal Procedure
- At the rear of the door, remove the screws (4)
that retain the molding (3) to the door.
- Gently pry the top of the molding off of the clips (1,2).
Installation Procedure
- Starting at the bottom, push the molding (3)
onto the clips (1,2) until the molding snaps into place.
- Install the screws (4) in order to retain the molding (3).

Removal Procedure
- Remove the retaining screws (1).
- Gently pry the top of the molding (2) off of the clips (3,4,5).
Installation Procedure
- Starting at the bottom, push the molding
onto the clips (3,4,5) until the molding (2) snaps into place.
- Install the retaining screws (1).

Removal Procedure
- Remove the retaining screws (3).
- Gently pry the lower molding in order to disengage the clips (2).
- Gently pry the center molding in order to disengage the upper
row of clips (1).
Installation Procedure
- Press the center molding
in order to engage the upper row of clips (1).
- Press the lower molding in order to engage the clips (2).
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners
must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring
replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant
are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or
corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified.
These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage
the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when
installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
- Install the retaining
screws (3).
Tighten
Tighten the retaining screws to 1 N·m (8.9 lb in).
