A vehicle speed signal error occurs when the Control Module detects 5 or more transitions in the lateral accelerator switch input after 20 or more seconds without a vehicle speed input. If a fault is detected, the system will set error code 34 and activate the error lamp.
The system will continue to default to zero speed damping level (Sport mode).
