Did you perform the Lighting System Diagnostic System Check?

  1. Disconnect the inoperative fog lamp bulb.
  2. Connect a test lamp between the inoperative fog lamp bulb power feed circuit and a good ground.
  3. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
  4. Turn ON the fog lamps.

Does the test light illuminate?

Connect a test light between the inoperative fog lamp bulb power feed circuit and the inoperative fog lamp bulb ground circuit.

Does the test light illuminate?

Inspect for poor connections at the inoperative fog lamp bulb connector. Refer to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections and Connector Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Did you find and correct the condition?

Replace the inoperative fog lamp bulb. Refer to Front Fog Lamp Bulb Replacement .

Repair the high resistance or open in the inoperative fog lamp bulb power feed circuit. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Repair the high resistance or open in the inoperative fog lamp bulb ground circuit. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
