Circuit Description

The climate control panel (CCP) provides a switched ground to the circuit from the key cylinder halo light. The halo light is supplied voltage at all times. The CCP samples the voltage on the circuit from the halo light to determine the state of the input.

Conditions for Running the DTC

    • The CCP is powered.
    • DTC B1327 is not current.

Conditions for Setting the DTC

The DTC sets if the CCP senses no voltage on the circuit from the halo light for a period longer than 2 seconds.

Action Taken When the DTC Sets

The CCP disables the internal switch that controls the halo light.

Conditions for Clearing the DTC

The DTC will be cleared from the CCP when it receives a new power mode signal over the class 2 communications system. If the CCP senses no voltage on the halo light circuit the DTC will reset after 2 seconds.

Test Description

The numbers below refer to the step numbers on the diagnostic table.
