Removal Procedure
- Lower the headliner in order to access the rear drain hose connections. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
- Cut the tie wraps from the drain hose spouts.
- Disconnect the drain hoses from the sunroof module assembly.
- Remove the interior moldings in order to access the drain hose retaining clips. Refer to Rear Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
- Remove the upper portion of the rear drain hoses from the retaining clips.
- Remove the rear compartment side trim panels. Refer to Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement in Body Rear End.
- Remove the rear lower drain hose (1) from the retaining clips.
- Remove the rear drain hose (1) from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
- Route the rear drain hoses (1) down through the access hole in the side rail.
- Push the end of the rear drain hoses down to the rear compartment opening.
- Clip the rear lower drain hoses (1) into position on the grommet.
- Clip the rear upper drain hoses into position.
- Connect the rear drain hoses to the drain spouts on the sunroof module assembly.
- Secure the drain hoses to the drain spouts on the sunroof module assembly.
- Secure the drain hoses to the sunroof module assembly drain spouts with new tie wraps.
- Install the headliner to the roof. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
Important: When installing the new drain hose tie wraps, position the tie wraps in order to maintain clearance between the tie wraps and the headliner.
