Removal Procedure
  1. Open the hood.

    2. Object Number: 1399010 Size: SH
  2. Remove the cross vehicle brace bolts from the brackets.
  3. Remove the cross vehicle brace from the brackets.

    4. Object Number: 1399005 Size: SH
  4. Remove the cross vehicle brace bracket bolts from the shock towers.
  5. Remove the cross vehicle brace brackets from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1399005 Size: SH
  1. Install the cross vehicle brace brackets to the vehicle.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the cross vehicle brace bracket bolts to the shock towers.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 47 N·m (35 lb ft)


    Object Number: 1399010 Size: SH
  3. Install the cross vehicle brace to the brackets.
  4. Install the cross vehicle brace bolts to the brackets.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 23 N·m (17 lb ft)

  5. Close the hood.
