Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Remove the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
  3. Remove the brake rotor. Refer to Rear Brake Rotor Replacement in Disc Brakes.
  4. Disconnect the wheel bearing/hub ABS harness connector.

  5. Object Number: 155740  Size: SH
  6. Remove the wheel bearing/hub retaining bolts.
  7. Remove the wheel bearing/hub from the lower control arm.
  8. Remove the brake shield from the lower control arm.
  9. Clean the control arm face and the bore before installing the hub and the bearing.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 155740  Size: SH
  1. Install the brake shield and the wheel bearing/hub to the lower control arm.
  2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Install the wheel bearing/hub retaining bolts.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the wheel bearing/hub bolts to 70 N·m (52 lb ft).

  5. Connect the wheel bearing/hub ABS harness connector.
  6. Install the brake rotor. Refer to Rear Brake Caliper Replacement in Disc Brakes.
  7. Install the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
  8. Lower the vehicle.
