Makes 🢒 Pontiac 🢒 2005 🢒 Bonneville 🢒 Transmission/Transaxle 🢒 Automatic Transaxle - 4T65-E 🢒 Transmission Fluid Filler Tube and Seal Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the fluid indicator.

    2. Object Number: 464450 Size: SH
  2. Remove the fluid filler tube bracket bolt from the fluid filler tube bracket.
  3. Remove the fluid filler tube.
  4. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  5. Remove filler tube seal.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 464450 Size: SH
  1. Install the fluid filler tube seal in the transaxle.
  2. Apply some DEXRON® VI fluid or equivalent to the inside diameter of the seal.
  3. Lower the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  4. Position the fluid filler tube into the transaxle.

    5. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  5. Install the fluid filler tube bracket bolt through the fluid filler tube bracket.

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the fluid filler tube bracket bolt to 9 N·m (79 lb in).

  6. Install the indicator.
  7. Fill the transaxle to the proper level. Refer to Transmission Fluid Check .
  8. Inspect for fluid leaks.
