Instrument Panel Upper Trim Pad Replacement without HUD

Important: Protect the instrument panel pad whenever garnish moldings are removed or installed.

1. Remove left and right windshield garnish moldings. Refer to Windshield Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.
2. Remove the defroster grille. Refer to Defroster Grille Replacement .
3. Remove the instrument panel trim plate bezel. Refer to Instrument Panel Cluster Trim Plate Bezel Replacement .
4. Remove the right side IP outer trim cover. Refer to Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover Replacement .
5. Remove the fasteners that secure the instrument panel (IP) upper trim pad to the carrier.
6. Lift the pad upward to disengage the retainers from the IP.

1. Align the instrument panel (IP) upper trim pad with the retainers and press down in order to engage.
2. Install the fasteners that secure the IP upper trim pad to the carrier.
3. Install the right IP outer trim cover. Refer to Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover Replacement .
4. Install the instrument panel trim plate bezel. Refer to Instrument Panel Cluster Trim Plate Bezel Replacement .
5. Install the defroster grille. Refer to Defroster Grille Replacement .
6. Install the left and the right windshield garnish moldings. Refer to Windshield Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.

Instrument Panel Upper Trim Pad Replacement with HUD

1. Remove the left and the right windshield garnish moldings. Refer to Windshield Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.
2. Remove the instrument panel trim plate bezel. Refer to Instrument Panel Cluster Trim Plate Bezel Replacement .
3. Remove the defroster grille. Refer to Defroster Grille Replacement .
4. Remove the left and the right instrument panel (IP) outer trim covers. Refer to Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover Replacement .
5. Remove the fasteners that secure the IP upper trim pad to the carrier.
6. Lift the pad upward in order to disengage the retainers from the IP.

1. Align the instrument panel (IP) upper trim pad with the retainers and press down in order to engage.
2. Install the fasteners that secure the IP Upper trim pad to the carrier.
3. Install the instrument panel trim plate bezel. Refer to Instrument Panel Cluster Trim Plate Bezel Replacement .
4. Install the defroster grille. Refer to Defroster Grille Replacement .
5. Install the left and the right IP outer trim covers. Refer to Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover Replacement .
6. Install the left and the right windshield garnish moldings. Refer to Windshield Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.
