Grille Replacement SE

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 564492  Size: SH
  1. Remove the fascia upper fasteners from the fascia.
  2. Pull the fascia forward to gain access to the back of the grill.
  3. Press down on the grill retainers from behind the grill and work the grill out of the fascia one retainer at a time.
  4. Remove the grill from the fascia.

Installation Procedure

  1. Push the grill into the fascia so that all of the retainers snap into place.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the upper fascia retainers.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the fascia fasteners to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 564524  Size: SH
  1. Press up on the fascia directly in front of the grill upper retaining tabs. Pull the grill forward to release it from the fascia at the top.
  2. Fold the grill down and pull it out the front of the fascia.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 564524  Size: SH
  1. Insert the grill into the fascia with the bottom edge of the grill locating itself into the fascia.
  2. Push the top of the grill backward and allow the top of the grill to snap into place.
