AM BAND RADIO NOISE MISSING GROUND WIRE

CONDITION:

Some early built 1985 Fiero vehicles may experience an AM Band Radio ignition noise.

CAUSE:

The noise condition may be the result of a missing radio noise suppression ground wire.

CORRECTION:

To repair the noise condition, install a noise suppression ground wire, part no. 12042531, or use #16 gage wire with 3/8 inch ring terminals (See Attached Illustration For Installation).

NOTICE: All Fiero vehicles built after V.I.N. 202644 have the correct parts.
