OTC MONITOR 85 SCAN TOOL INFORMATION

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1985 Fiero With 2.8L-PFI V-6 Engine (VIN Code 9) -----------------------------------

Some technicians may be experiencing difficulty in using the OTC Monitor 85 Scan Tool model no. 3485 on Fieros with 2.8L - PFI V-6 Engines (VIN Code 9). To properly use the Scan Tool on subject vehicles it is important that Monitor Code 14 (PONT 6 PFI) be entered. Entering Code 13 (CHEV PFI) will result in erroneous readouts.
