PRE-DELIVERY INSPECTION OF FLOOR SHIFT DETENT ROD

Some 1982 Firebird models with automatic transmission may have been built with a broken shift lever detent rod. Please have your dealer personnel check for this condition during pre-delivery inspection and, if necessary, install a new detent rod (part number 10023591) as outlined in bulletin 82-T-48.
