SOME 1982 CAMAROS WITH LG4 ENGINES MAY EXPERIENCE A RAPPING TYPE NOISE EMANATING FROM THE FUEL PUMP. THIS TYPE OF NOISE OCCURS ONLY IN AMBIENTS BELOW 70F. A NEW FUEL PUMP INCORPORATING A THERMAL SWITCH WHICH PREVENTS FUEL RETURN DURING COLD AMBIENTS CORRECTS THIS CONDITION. THE FUEL PUMP IS AVAILABLE FROM WDDGM AS SERVICE KIT P/N 6471252. USE APPLICABLE LABOR OPERATION.
