UNEVEN FRONT TIRE WEAR TOE SPECIFICATION CHANGE

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1982-87 CAMARO AND FIREBIRD

Some 1982-87 Camaros and Firebirds may experience uneven tire wear on the outer ribs of the front tires.

To eliminate or minimize this condition check the sum toe setting on an alignment machine and reset the sum toe to .10 +/- .20.

The sum toe specification was changed from .3 degrees +/- .20 degrees to .10 +/- .20 for both factory and service settings starting with the VIN breakpoints below:

Use applicable Labor Operation Number and Time.

Use new specs. as degrees per Tire and Wheel.
