The 1982-1984 'F' model hatchbacks are designed to provide more cargo space than is available in a standard passenger car while still providing all the same ride and comfort features.

To ensure adequate sealing, this design may require a greater closing effort than some owners expect due to the large volume of air being displaced. Owners should be advised that slightly opening a door or window will significantly reduce the effort required to close the hatch.
