SUBJECT: LEFT SIDE INSTRUMENT PANEL RATTLE (REMOVE HEADLAMP SWITCH AND WRAP WIRES)

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1988-91 PONTIAC FIREBIRD 'F'

Condition:

---------- Left side instrument panel rattle

Cause:

------- Headlamp switch wiring hits instrument panel carrier.

Correction:

------------ Remove switch as outlined in Service Manual and wrap wires in foam tape such as 3M 06370 or equivalent.
