This bulletin cancel and replaces bulletin 91-10-1 issued 6/90. This bulletin has been revised to change the labor time from .2 to .5.
Application: Early 1991 Pontiac Trans Am, GTA or Firebird models With W68 Appearance Package.
Condition: Paint peels or flakes from upper surface of left side quarter molding (near area of body contact) located behind rear tire opening.
Cause: Sufficient adhesion promoter may not have been applied to the part during the paint process.
Correction: Replace failed quarter molding using procedure outlined in the Service Manual (page 10-6-5).
