POWER WINDOW - POPPING NOISE WHEN OPERATING

SUBJECT: POWER WINDOW, POPPING NOISE WHEN OPERATING (REPLACE MOTOR ONLY - NEW PART NUMBERS)

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1991 F CARS

Condition:

----------- Popping noises when operating power windows upward from full down position.

Cause:

------ Internal components of the motor sticking or binding.

Correction:

------------ Replace the window motor with new part # 22121553 using the procedures as described in Section 10=5 of the Service Manual.

IMPORTANT: It is not necessary to replace regulators for this condition. Replace the motors only.
