LOOSE/WAVY DOOR GLASS BELT SEALING STRIP-NEW P/N RELEASED

SUBJECT: LOOSE AND/OR WAVY DOOR GLASS BELT SEALING STRIP (REPLACE SUPPORT ASSEMBLIES)

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1984-1992 F-CAR

Owner comments of loose and/or wavy door glass belt sealing strip may be addressed without replacing the complete door trim pad assembly.

The upper portion of the trim pad (support, belt trim) is available, Group # 14.691, P/N 12394510, Right Hand and 12394511, Left Hand. These support assemblies include the sealing strip.

Remove the front door belt support using tool J-28626-A, Kent Moore or equivalent. Install new support using same inverted nuts.
