Subject: WARRANTY CLAIMS ON 1993 FIREBIRD FORMULA FIREHAWK BY SLP

Pontiac recently advised dealers of the availability of an aftermarket alteration of the Formula Firehawk from SLP Engineering Inc.

The SLP Firehawk alteration (Option R6V) will increase engine performance and handling with the addition of a revised cold air induction system with functional hood scoops, 17" aluminum wheels and Firestone tires.

SLP will warranty the following items. The coverage is one year or 12,000 miles.

- Lightweight Composite Hood (Including Paint Related Repairs) - Air cleaner Assembly - 17" x 8.5" Aluminum Alloy Wheels - Firehawk Graphics - Exhaust Tips - Interior Plaque - 275/40 ZR17 Firestone "Firehawk" Tires

SLP must be contacted at 908-240-3696 for warranty coverage.

All other claims on the Firehawk will be warranted as specified in the 1993 Pontiac New Vehicle Warranty (ie. 3/36, 000 miles) . Warranty claims for non-SLP installed parts on Firehawks can be submitted in the normal manner.
