SUBJECT: WARRANTY ADMINISTRATION -- FUEL FILL CREDIT

MODELS: 1995 PONTIAC MODELS

EFFECTIVE WITH THE 1995 MODEL YEAR, THE FUEL FILL CREDIT FOR A FULL TANK OF GAS WILL NO LONGER BE PAID WHEN THE NEW VEHICLE INSPECTION IS PROCESSED THROUGH THE WARRANTY SYSTEM. IT WILL NOW BE PAID TO YOUR OPEN ACCOUNT BASED ON REPORTING OF RETAIL DELIVERY. IN ADDITION, NO INCENTIVE APPLICATION IS REQUIRED AND THERE WILL BE NO CHANGE IN GM ACCOUNTING PROCEDURES. LISTED BELOW ARE DETAILS REGARDING ELIGIBLE DELIVERY TYPES, PREMIUM FUEL AND HOW PAYMENT WILL APPEAR ON YOUR OPEN ACCOUNT:

SPECIAL CASES: PREMIUM FUEL ON BONNEVILLE WITH L67 PREMIUM FUEL ON FIREBIRD WITH LT1

OPEN ACCOUNT: INCENTIVE MEMO CODE FFC (NO INCENTIVE APPLICATION IS REQUIRED)

AS DISCUSSED IN PREVIOUS DCS MESSAGE (WAR140 - 6/29/94), IT WAS RECOMMENDED THAT ALL 1994 VEHICLES BE SUBMITTED FOR NVI PRIOR TO AUGUST 19, 1994. IN THE EVENT YOU WERE UNABLE TO SUBMIT FOR A 1994 NVI PRIOR TO THIS DATE, IT WILL BE NECESSARY TO INCLUDE THE APPROPRIATE FUEL FILL ALLOWANCE IN THE NET AMOUNT FIELD WHEN YOU DO SUBMIT THE NVI.

AS IN THE PAST, FLEET, DRIVERS-ED, PEP, AND OPTION I VEHICLES WILL BE HANDLED THROUGH A CREDIT ON THE VEHICLE INVOICE. SHOULD YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS REGARDING PAYMENT, PLEASE CONTACT THE DEALER ASSISTANCE CENTER (DAC) AT 1-800-447-2287, MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY 8:00 A.M. TO 8:00 P.M., EASTERN TIME.
