Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 208553 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the (IAT) intake air temperature sensor and (MAF) mass airflow sensor, if equipped with the 5.7L (VIN G) engine.

    2. Object Number: 208569 Size: SH
  2. Remove the air intake duct, if equipped with the 5.7L (VIN G) engine.

    3. Object Number: 208554 Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the (IAT) intake air temperature sensor, if equipped with the 3800 (VIN K) engine.

    4. Object Number: 208572 Size: SH
  4. Remove the air intake duct, if equipped with the 3800 (VIN K) engine.

    5. Object Number: 221697 Size: SH
  5. Remove the air cleaner assembly bolts.
  6. Remove the air cleaner assembly / radiator support.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 221697 Size: SH
  1. Install the air cleaner assembly / radiator support.
  2. Install the air cleaner assembly bolts.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the air cleaner bolts to 12 N·m (106 lb in).

  3. Install the air intake duct, if equipped with the 3800 (VIN K) engine.

    4. Object Number: 208554 Size: SH
  4. Connect the electrical connector to the IAT sensor, if equipped with the 3800 (VIN K) engine.

    5. Object Number: 208569 Size: SH
  5. Install the air intake duct, if equipped with the 5.7L (VIN G) engine.

    6. Object Number: 208553 Size: SH
  6. Connect the electrical connectors to the IAT sensor and the MAF sensor, if equipped with the 5.7L (VIN G) engine.
