Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 33332 Size: SH
  1. Remove the shift control closeout boot. Refer to Shift Control Shift Closeout Boot Replacement .
  2. Remove shift control bolts.
  3. Remove the shift control.
  4. Clean the old sealant from the housing and the shift control sealing surfaces.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 38411 Size: SH
  1. Apply sealant GM P/N 12345739 or the equivalent to the mating surface of the cover plate.

    2. Object Number: 33332 Size: SH
  2. Install the shift control.
  3. Install the shift control bolts.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the shift control bolts to 18 N·m (13 lb ft).

  4. Install the shift control closeout boot. Refer to Shift Control Shift Closeout Boot Replacement .
