Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 208301 Size: SH
  1. Remove the range selector lever cable from the automatic transmission control.
  2. Remove the park/neutral position switch. Refer to Park/Neutral Position Switch Replacement

    3. Object Number: 208310 Size: SH
  3. Remove the automatic transmission control bolts.
  4. Remove the automatic transmission control.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the automatic transmission control.

    2. Object Number: 208310 Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  2. Install the automatic transmission bolts.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 8 N·m (71 lb in).

  3. Install the park/neutral position switch. Refer to Park/Neutral Position Switch Replacement

  4. Install the automatic transmission range select lever cable.
