  1. Ensure that the headlamp switch in the HEAD position.
  2. Turn the headlamp dimmer switch to the LOW position.
  3. Connect a test light from the headlamp switch connector terminal E to ground.

Does the test light illuminate?

Repair a poor connection or open in circuit 10/12.

Is the repair complete?

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
  2. Reconnect all connectors/components removed.

  1. Turn the headlamp switch to the HEAD position.
  2. Turn the headlamp dimmer switch to the LOW position.
  3. Backprobe with a test light from the headlamp dimmer switch connector terminal B and ground.

Does the test light illuminate?
