  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.

    2. Object Number: 296199 Size: SH
  2. Remove the bolts that attach the braces to the front crossmember.

    3. Object Number: 296196 Size: SH
  3. Remove the braces from the front crossmember.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 296196 Size: SH
  1. Connect the braces to the front crossmember.

    2. Object Number: 296199 Size: SH
  2. Install the bolts that attach the braces to the front crossmember.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the crossmember brace bolts to 29 N·m (21 lb ft).

  3. Lower the vehicle.
