Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 472129 Size: SH
  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Disconnect the speed sensor electrical connector (1).
  3. Remove the speed sensor bolt.
  4. Remove the vehicle speed sensor.
  5. Remove the speedometer driven gear, if necessary.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 472129 Size: SH
  1. Install the speedometer driven gear, if necessary.
  2. Install the vehicle speed sensor.
  3. Install the speed sensor bolt

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the speed sensor bolt to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  4. Connect the speed sensor electrical connector (1).
  5. Lower the vehicle.
