Exhaust Manifold Removal - Right Side F Car


    Object Number: 346029 Size: SH

    Important: Do not remove the check valve from the Air Injection Reaction (AIR) pipe unless service is required.

  1. Remove the AIR pipe, with check valve, bolts, and gasket from the right exhaust manifold.
  2. Remove the spark plug wires from the spark plugs.

    3. Do not remove the spark plug wires from the ignition coils unless required.

    Important: Do not remove the oxygen sensor from the manifold unless service is required.

  3. Remove the oxygen sensor from the manifold.
  4. Remove the exhaust manifold, bolts, and gasket.
  5. Discard the gasket.

    6. Object Number: 639819 Size: SH
  6. Remove the heat shield (2) and bolts (3) from the manifold (1), if required.

Exhaust Manifold Removal - Right Side Y Car


    Object Number: 63229 Size: SH

    Important: Do not remove the check valve from the Air Injection Reaction (AIR) pipe unless service is required.

    Do not remove the oxygen sensor from the exhaust manifold unless service is required.

  1. Remove the AIR pipe bracket bolt from the rear of the left cylinder head.

    2. Object Number: 363591 Size: SH
  2. Remove the AIR pipe, with check valve, bolts, and gasket from the right exhaust manifold.

    3. Object Number: 639833 Size: SH
  3. Remove the spark plug wires from the spark plugs.

    4. Do not remove the spark plug wires from the ignition coils unless required.

  4. Remove the oxygen sensor from the manifold.
  5. Remove the exhaust manifold, bolts, and gasket.
  6. Discard the gasket.
  7. Remove the heat shield and bolts, if required.
