Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 551464  Size: SH
  1. Remove the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) tube from the right rocker arm cover and throttle body, if necessary.

  2. Object Number: 379366  Size: SH
  3. Remove the PCV valve pipe from the left rocker arm cover.

  4. Object Number: 379367  Size: MH
  5. Remove the PCV valve pipe strap nut.
  6. Remove the PCV valve pipe from the right rocker arm cover and intake manifold.
  7. If replacing the PCV valve pipe, remove the PCV valve from the pipe.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 379367  Size: MH
  1. If replacement of the PCV valve pipe was required, install the PCV valve to the pipe.
  2. Install the PCV valve pipe to the right rocker arm cover and intake manifold.
  3. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the PCV valve pipe strap nut .
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the PCV strap nut to 12 N·m (106 lb in).

  6. Install the PCV valve pipe to the left rocker arm cover.

  7. Object Number: 551464  Size: SH
  8. Install the PCV tube to the right rocker arm cover and throttle body, in necessary.
