Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 215517 Size: SH
  1. Clean all the evaporative emission (EVAP) pipe connections and the surrounding areas before disconnecting in order to avoid possible contamination of the EVAP system.
  2. Disconnect the engine compartment purge pipe (5) at the EVAP canister purge valve.
  3. Disconnect the engine compartment purge pipe (5) at the chassis purge pipe.
  4. Cap the EVAP pipes in order to prevent possible EVAP system contamination.
  5. Remove the engine compartment purge pipe

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 215517 Size: SH
  1. Remove the caps from the EVAP pipes.
  2. Connect the engine compartment purge pipe (5) to the chassis purge pipe (4).
  3. Connect the engine compartment purge pipe (5) to the EVAP canister purge valve (6).
